Logan police have charged a man with numerous offences following an incident on the Mount Lindesay Highway at Browns Plains on 26 October.
Around 7.15am, Logan Highway Patrol located a Holden Commodore stationary on the shoulder of the highway. When police approached the vehicle, the driver was found asleep behind the wheel.
As police attempted to engage with him, the man woke up and allegedly drove away.
Subsequent investigations identified the driver, and with assistance from officers from Jimboomba Police Station, police attended his residence at Greenbank a short time later.
The vehicle was located in the driveway and the man was taken into custody.
It will be alleged that during the search of the Holden Commodore police located a large quantity of methylamphetamine and MDMA table
