St. Louis - This was a perfect way for the Red Wings to open this five-game road trip.

They took advantage of a struggling and tired St. Louis team Tuesday, beginning this long trip with a 5-2 victory over the Blues.

Like Saturday, the Wings found themselves behind. But this time it only took 47 seconds before the Blues' Brayden Schenn put back a rebound past goaltender John GIbson.
