BELMONT COUNTY, OH (WTRF) - MPR Transloading in Bellaire is celebrating ten years of sand operations along the Ohio River.

They are building a new 33,000 square foot facility that will increase their storage capacity by 65%.

They've already moved ten million tons of sand in ten years of operation, and they say that's a big accomplishment.

We're excited to be celebrating our ten-year sandiversary and our employment has grown an additional about 30 employees since we started with the sand business. So, it's an exciting time and it is all due to our employees here and our customers, so we are grateful for everything, the growth that we've had here."
