US President Donald Trump on Wednesday said he expects “a lot of problems” to be resolved during his upcoming meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping, but indicated that the sensitive issue of Taiwan might not come up in their talks, reported AFP. Speaking to reporters aboard air force one, Trump said, “I think we're going to have a great meeting with President Xi of China, and a lot of problems are going to be solved.” When asked whether the two leaders would discuss Taiwan, Trump replied, “I don't know that we'll even speak about Taiwan. I'm not sure. He may want to ask about it. There's not that much to ask about.
