FARMINGTON, Connecticut — Farmington police have released body-camera footage showing officers interacting with Jacqueline "Mimi" Torres-Garcia's mother and her mother’s boyfriend several months after investigators say they believe the 11-year-old had already died.

According to unsealed arrest warrants, the video captures Farmington police responding to multiple noise complaints at an apartment complex between September 2024 and February 2025, the home where investigators say Karla Garcia and her boyfriend, Jonatan Nanita, lived for several years. It’s also the last place "Mimi" was seen alive.

Police records show officers were called to the apartment four times over a five-month span but only made contact with the family once, on Dec. 29, 2024.
