28-year-old Surj Singh Salaria, an Indian-origin resident of Calgary, Canada, was arrested at Coutts border crossing after nearly 77 kg of cocaine was found in a commercial truck, according to the Canada Border Services Agency’s news release dated October 27. Officials belatedly announced the shocking discovery, which was actually made on September 25. Authorities revealed that the estimated street value of the cocaine found on the commercial truck seeking entry into Canada from the US was $7 million.
