New England Patriots cornerback Marcus Jones signed a contract extension on Tuesday.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, however NFL Network reported it was a three-year extension.
Jones, 27, has recorded 36 tackles, two interceptions and a sack in eight games (five starts) while playing on the final year of his rookie contract. He also returned a punt 87 yards for a touchdown in the Patriots' 42-13 victory over the Carolina Panthers in Week 4.
A first-team All-Pro in 2022 as a returner, Jones has totaled 138 tackles and five interceptions in 39 games since being selected by New England with a third-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
