SEATTLE -- Cole Caufield had two goals and an assist, including the winning goal 44 seconds into overtime, and the Montreal Canadiens recovered after blowing a three-goal lead in the third period for a 4-3 win against the Seattle Kraken at Climate Pledge Arena on Tuesday.
Caufield hustled to the goal line, deked, and snuck the puck under Seattle goalie Joey Daccord to win it.
Seattle scored three straight goals in the third to rally back from a 3-0 deficit and force overtime.
Brandon Montour cut it to 3-1 with a power-play goal at 8:57. He scored on a one-timer of Berkly Catton ’s pass at the blue line that tipped off Canadiens defenseman Alexandre Carrier and ramped over Dobes’ blocker.
