Zubeen Garg, one of the most influential artistes from Assam, passed away in Singapore in a swimming-related incident. Amid a deluge of videos showing fans’ heartfelt tributes to Garg, a clip of an elephant calf from Jelehuagaon in Dergaon dancing to one of his songs has captured hearts online.

The now- viral video shows the baby elephant swaying its trunk and moving rhythmically as Garg’s soulful song played. The natural synchronisation between the animal’s movements and the song’s beats left locals awestruck.

Sharing the video, an Instagram handle @ guwahati .unofficial wrote, “Zubeen Da, you will be remembered forever.”
