Mansa (Punjab), October 29, 2025: Panic and anger gripped Mansa town on Wednesday, a day after multiple incidents of daylight firing left residents shaken. In protest against the brazen attacks by unidentified assailants, local residents and traders observed a complete shutdown and took to the streets, demanding the immediate arrest of those involved.

The Mansa Bar Council also extended its support to the bandh, suspending all legal work for the day.

Three Firing Incidents Shock the City

The tension began on Tuesday after three separate firing incidents took place in different parts of Mansa.

Bike-borne assailants: Two men on a motorcycle opened fire at three different locations in broad daylight.
