Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will embark on a two-day visit to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to attend the 12th ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting-Plus (ADMM-Plus) on Saturday.

During the visit, Singh will address the forum on the theme “Reflection on 15 years of ADMM-Plus and Charting the Way Forward.” The meeting brings together Defence Ministers from ASEAN member nations and their eight Dialogue Partners to deliberate on strengthening regional security and defence cooperation.

On the sidelines of the ADMM-Plus, the second ASEAN-India Defence Ministers’ Informal Meeting will be held on Friday under Malaysia’s chairmanship. Defence Ministers from all ASEAN countries are expected to participate. The discussions will focus on enhancing defence and security collaboration between ASEAN and India,
