LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A new Chick-fil-A restaurant could be coming to Dixie Highway.

According to our partners at Louisville Business First , a zoning change request filed with Louisville Metro Planning and Design shows that Chick-fil-A is planning a new 5,304-square-foot restaurant at 9718 Dixie Highway.

The restaurant would have a drive-thru and be located near residential housing and across from a Meijer store and gas station.

The site is the former location of Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church after it moved to Vaughn Mill Road.

It's unknown at this time when construction could begin. There are 15 other Chick-fil-A restaurants in the Louisville area.
