PRESQUE, Maine (WAGM) - One person was taken to the hospital after a three-vehicle crash in Presque Isle late Thursday.

At 11:30 a.m. the Presque Isle Police Department responded to a call reporting a 3-vehicle crash on Route 1 near United Ag & Turf.

Police have not released the injured individual’s name or condition.

Traffic in the area slowed while first responders worked the scene.

The southbound lane of the roadway was blocked off during cleanup. The crash involved a black GMC pickup, a silver Honda sedan, and a red sedan.

All three vehicles sustained damage and were towed from the scene by Impact Auto Inc.

The cause of the crash has not been released, and no citations have been announced at this time.
