New maps have shown a 3cm per hour snow blast could hit ENGLAND in November - in the first significant snowfall of the season for south of the border. Maps from WX Charts show a large blizzard is expected to hit Scotland on November 13.
Areas affected include Inverness, Wick and Aberdeen, while England could also face flurries. Snow is predicted to fall across the region between midnight and 6am, at rates of up to 3cm per hour, building total snow depths of around 3cm to 4cm.
Areas in England affected could be northern England, including the north east, and the Pennines too. These areas may see some light snow or sleet, according to WX Charts, which uses Met Desk data based off the GFS model.
