New Delhi: The All India Football Federation could be expected to take a decision on I-League’s relegation after Sporting Club Bengaluru dropped their pursuit of escaping demotion in the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

A decision on relegation has been pending from April 6 when the last match of 2024-25 season was played, with AIFF keen to wait for a directive from CAS, more in anticipation without any official communication from the Swiss court once SCB took the matter there on August 15, having finished among the bottom two teams and faced demotion as per regulations.
