DARTMOUTH — When Amanda Alcaidinho started tinkering in her kitchen last year with sourdough recipes, she had no inkling her hobby would soon become a thriving business.

Now, Alcaidinho is the force behind Dartmouth’s much-buzzed-about Divine Dough Bakery, delighting local bread lovers with her signature “flights” of mini sourdough loaves.

What began as a TikTok-driven curiosity, according to Alcaidinho, quickly grew beyond a circle of friends and family.

“I really don’t have a fancy startup story. I just went on a TikTok sourdough train and decided I wanted to make my own starter," she said. "The reception was amazing, people told me it was some of the best sourdough they’d ever tasted.”
