HUNTINGTON — Jalen Slappy knows a thing or two about the Myrtle Beach area and the crowd Marshall's football team might draw against Coastal Carolina in Conway, South Carolina, at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

“The last time we went there, it was like the biggest crowd they ever had,” the Thundering Herd offensive lineman said. “We were 6-7 that year, so I expect a big crowd. Herd fans always travel when we go to Myrtle. I told these guys that the next couple of games we’re about to play are gonna be packed out, no matter who we play.”
