Golfers usually head to the course expecting a quiet day of sport and relaxation, not unexpected rescues. That was the case at Fire Wheel Golf Course in Garland, Texas, until a few players noticed something unusual moving in the nearby creek.
Their game came to a halt as they walked closer to investigate.
It didn’t take long to realize that a dog was stranded on the edge of Rowlett Creek, unable or unwilling to move. Unsure how to help safely, the golfers quickly decided to call for assistance.
