The Berlin Township Historical Society is hosting an event to celebrate the area's farming heritage.
"Farming in the Victorian Era" is set for 7 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 10 at the South Rockwood Community Center, 5767 Carleton-Rockwood Road, Rockwood, according to a community announcement.
Ken Giorlando and Larissa Fleishman will present the program, offering a glimpse into 19th-century farm life. The event will feature horses and carriages, oil lamps and candles, hoop skirts and top hats.
Photos sought for display
The historical society is seeking photos to display at the event, showcasing the township's farming history.
