A shocking incident has surfaced as West Bengal authorities filed a zero FIR concerning the alleged murder of a migrant worker, Pathik Hembram, in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The distressing case brought to light when Hembram's widow filed a complaint, leading to an investigation spearheaded by local law enforcement.

Samirul Islam, a Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha MP and Chairman of the Migrant Workers' Welfare Board, has been vocal about the case. He revealed that Hembram's body was discovered on railway tracks, prompting authorities to register a zero FIR. The report, initially filed in Panrui, was transferred to the police station in charge of the crime scene for further probing.
