PARAGOULD, Ark. (KY3) - Authorities in northeast Arkansas arrested a fugitive wanted for questioning in the killings of two women in Fulton County.

Authorities located Jacob Lowell Smith in Paragould on Tuesday around 8 p.m. Several agencies assisted in tracking him to that area.

Smith is a person of interest in the deaths of Tonya Stallings, 54, and Ashley Stallings, 33, both of Ash Flat. Depuites found the two shot dead in their home on October 21. Investigators say someone stole two guns from the residence. They believe the deaths happened days prior to finding the bodies.

Smith does not face any charges related to the deaths of the women near Ash Flat. He remains jailed in Paragould for a parole violation.
