BRANSON, Mo. (KY3) - Two Branson restaurant owners are warning people about lithium battery safety after a fire broke out at their business earlier this week.

Christi and John Moore, who own Cakes N Cream Fifties Diner, received a call from their security company around 5:30 a.m. Monday, about a fire at their restaurant.

“My husband said, the garage says there’s a fire. And I said, What? So I got my phone out and I watched my video and I said, Yes, there’s a fire,” Christi Moore said.

Security footage from their storage room showed flames and smoke, but the couple initially couldn’t identify what was burning.
