WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - Held at the WWNY studio, Watertown’s city council candidates debated a number of city issues, and in several cases, agreed and disagreed with one another.
One issue they all had a similar solution for, whether or not the city should foot the bill to alleviate property blight.
“I think there should be some sort of law where they have to provide one- a contact person. Not just a P.O. Box, a legitimate phone number and an address,” said Doug Osborne.
“As the gentlemen up here have previously mentioned, our first step should be ensuring we have an adequate way of contacting these landlords,” said Anthony Velasquez.
