NORTH DAKOTA (KXNET) — In an effort to reduce the number of impaired drivers in the state, ND Sober Ride is offering discounted Lyft rides on Halloween, a time when people are known to gather, party, and indulge in the occasional drink.

Riders can use Lyft code "VZHALLOWEEN25" to receive $10 off their ride on Friday, October 31, or Saturday, November 1.

“Each time someone makes the choice to drive sober or use a program like ND Sober Ride, they’re not just protecting themselves, they’re helping save lives and making North Dakota’s roads safer for everyone,” Kelly Aberle, impaired driving program manager for the North Dakota Department of Transportation, said in a press release.
