The Gujarat Police have uncovered a murder plot two days after a man was found dead with severe injuries in Bhavnagar district. During probe, it was revealed that the crime was part of a plan hatched by the victim’s wife to eliminate him so she could reunite with her lover.

The victim has been identified as Kamlesh Dudhiya, a labourer residing in the city.

The murder came to light when villagers spotted his body and alerted police. Visible wounds on his body suggested he had been brutally beaten to death, prompting police to register a murder case.
