Big changes to NHS pharmacies kick in for UK households from Wednesday - including f ree morning after pills OTC (over the counter) and other key tweaks.
Women will be able to get the morning-after pill free of charge from high street pharmacies across England starting Wednesday, October 28.
Almost 10,000 pharmacies are now able to offer the pill without charge, saving those in need of free emergency contraception from having to visit their GP or to get an appointment at a sexual health clinic.
