RIYADH: An expatriate committed suicide following a verbal dispute with his wife. The youth identified as Muhammed Ansari (24) of Muzaffarnagar ended his life in Saudi Arabia. The incident happened on last Sunday.

Ansari married Sania six months ago. Ansari had left for Saudi Arabia, two and a half months ago for work. He made a video call as usual on Sunday evening. During the conversation, the two had an argument. Then, while Sania was watching, Ansari hung himself from a fan during the video call. Sania, who was frightened, immediately informed his relatives in Saudi Arabia, but by the time they reached, Ansari was dead.

Ansari's relative Amzad Ali said the procedures to bring Ansari's body back to the country are in progress. The family also said that they have sought the help of the
