The United States Postal Inspection Service is searching for two women they believe abandoned the vehicle linked to the shooting of a postal employee outside the Jefferson Road post office in Henrietta in mid-October .

The postal service employee was s hot while he was sitting in his own vehicle parked in the employee parking lot around 12:40 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 16. The employee was taken to an area hospital, treated and released, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office. The victim and his vehicle were both struck with gunfire
