New Delhi: Samsung has come up with Digital Car Key support for Mahindra’s new Electric Origin SUVs in India. This feature is available through Samsung Wallet, allowing Galaxy smartphone users to lock or unlock, and they can even start their Mahindra cars without using a physical key. As a result, Mahindra becomes the first Indian car manufacturer to offer Samsung’s digital key integration.

For now, the feature works with Mahindra’s XEV 9e and BE 6 SUVs to unlock and start their vehicles using compatible Galaxy smartphones, and it started rolling out in India on October 29, 2025. Users who own these eSUVs and have compatible Galaxy phones can set up the feature. More models are expected to get this support later.
