Ben Stiller didn't always want to be a comedian. While that may sound like a joke, given that the "Zoolander" star is such a natural at the craft, it was actually true for most of Ben's formative years. Appearing on "The Young Man and The Three" podcast in October 2025, the actor revealed that he was initially hesitant to dabble in comedy because he would be following in the footsteps of his famous parents, Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara. The beloved Hollywood personality apparently set his ambitions in stone during his childhood, as Ben recalled telling his parents that he wanted to focus on serious projects at the age of about eight.
