A crash on Route 4 caused major delays Wednesday morning, Oct. 29, after two lanes were shut down, officials said.

As of 8:09 a.m., two of three westbound lanes were closed near Hackensack Avenue, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

Traffic was backed up through the area and along River Road in Teaneck as emergency crews responded to the scene. At least one ambulance and a firetruck were called to the scene.

No injuries were immediately reported.
