BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- Wednesday: The front will be east of Alabama on Wednesday afternoon. An area of low pressure north of Alabama will bring wrap-around clouds and showers through the evening. It will be breezy and cooler with high temperatures only in the mid-50s. A few showers will linger into Wednesday night, with clouds and colder lows in the lower 40s.

Thursday: A trough of low pressure will linger across the Southeast U.S. on Thursday, resulting in a few sprinkles across Alabama through the first half of the day. Then it will be partly cloudy, chilly, and breezy in the afternoon, with highs only in the mid to upper 50s.
