Bhopal, Oct 29: The broad daylight killing of Bajrang Dal activist Nilesh Rajak in Katni, Madhya Pradesh, has triggered significant unrest, compelling the administration to issue prohibitory orders to regain control.
The victim, 35-year-old Rajak, a former 'Gau Seva Pramukh' (Cow Protection Chief) for the district, was reportedly shot dead by two unidentified men while standing near a bank in the Vijayraghogarh area on Wednesday. The murder, which occurred around 10:30 a.m. in the Kaimor police station area, caused panic in the locality.
