KILGORE, Texas — The National Weather Service will come to survey storm damage that hit the Kilgore and Lindale areas during severe storms Tuesday afternoon.
NWS said crews will be evaluating damage in these areas Wednesday to determine what exactly happened.
In Kilgore, there was heavy wind damage in the neighborhoods just south of the football stadium. Crews are working to cut more trees and debris that fell. Winds also caused power outages and damaged electrical poles, according to the Kilgore Police Department.
Walton's Bar in Kilgore had its roof blown off and saw significant damage due to the storm.
Northeast of Lindale, trees and homes are damaged off FM 2170, and County Roads 4126 and 4128. No injuries have been reported in either of the areas.
