Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hoist a saffron Dharma Dhwaja atop the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya on November 25, marking Vivah Panchami. The 22x11 ft flag, made of parachute fabric, will flutter atop a 161-ft spire, symbolizing Ram Rajya’s tradition with emblems of the Sun, Om, and the Kovidar tree. Flags will also be hoisted on eight nearby temples, and the 70-acre complex will open for devotees after the ceremony, attended by 8,000 guests.
