A Pakistani Army captain was among seven soldiers killed in a highly coordinated attack by the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Kurram district, sources told News18 .

According to an official source, the Pakistani Army officer was identified as Captain Noman. At least 17 security personnel were left injured in the attack by Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), which came as a result of a deadly confrontation with the military in the restive Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region of the country, sources said.

The official source confirmed that TTP militants specifically targeted soldiers in the Sultan Kalay locality of Kurram district. They hit the security forces with bombing and intense firing, in what is most likely an operation executed by the group’s deadly Kurram district commande
