The Israel Defense Forces on Wednesday announced it had eliminated a Hezbollah operative responsible for rebuilding the Iranian-backed terrorist organization’s military capabilities in Southern Lebanon.

Hussein Ali Tohmeh was killed in an Israeli Air Force strike on Oct. 14, the IDF said, adding that the terrorist was responsible for logistical support in the Qana sector, located some 7 miles from the border.

The slain terror operative “worked to transfer combat equipment in order to restore the military capabilities of the Hezbollah terror organization in the area,” according to the IDF statement.
