TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) -- A large, southward dip in the jet stream, associated with a series of cold fronts, is ushering chilly, dry air across the Deep South.
The second cold front of the week arrives to the Tampa Bay area Wednesday evening, bringing breezy winds and lower humidity for Thursday.
We start to feel the cooler conditions by Thursday afternoon as highs top out below average in the low-to-mid 70s.
However, the big chill arrives Friday morning with low temperatures in the upper 40s, for some, and low-to-mid 50s for most.
Friday afternoon will likely be the coolest of the week with highs near 73.
Chilly air continues to pour into the state overnight Friday into Saturday morning thanks to northerly winds.
This will make for a chilly Trick-or-Treat forecast as temperatures quickl
