EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — The 2025 season at Seekonk Speedway has officially come to an end.

This week on Trackside Northeast, host Joe Cortese sits down with Richie Johnson, Seekonk Speedway’s Sport 4 Division Champion.

The two talk about Johnson’s humble beginnings in demolition derbies to his rise through the ranks of Friday night competition at Seekonk.

They also dive into the sport's evolving playoff formats and what it takes to stay competitive on the track.
