NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – The New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department issued a warning about a mail scam alleging that property may be seized if overdue debt is not paid.

Fake letters have been reported and direct individuals to make payments via the phone to a 800 number. A photo os the scam letter can be seen below:
