PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Wilsonville High School is closed on Wednesday after a violent threat, officials said.
In a message sent to families in the West Linn-Wilsonville School District, the district said that a threatening message was found in a boys' bathroom stall on Tuesday that threatened student safety.
According to the district, the message specifically mentioned October 29, Wednesday, and referenced using a weapon at Wilsonville High School.
Law enforcement was immediately contacted about the threat, and the district is reviewing camera footage to see what students may have had access to the area.
In the message, officials said that law enforcement doesn't think the threat was credible, but being cautious, they still decided to cancel school.
