POTSDAM, N.Y. — As UND players walked out of Cheel Arena with a 1-0 victory over Clarkson on Saturday night, a few things were on the top of their minds.

First, they commented on the importance of coming away with a victory in the series finale.

Second, they were perplexed by how differently the two games were officiated than the previous weekend's series against Minnesota.

Against the Gophers, any sort of stickwork was called. Against the Golden Knights, the players felt obstruction and cross-checking were allowed to happen at noticeably higher rates.

It highlights a conversation that needs to happen as the NCAA changes its governance structure for college hockey.
