Amazon planned to cut 14,000 corporate jobs, about 4% of their total corporate workforce, in the company's biggest layoffs since 2022 , according to a letter sent to employees on Oct 28.
The letter , which was penned by Beth Galetti, vice president of experience and technology at Amazon, cited the workforce reduction on the company's leaner business model, which is quickly integrating Artificial Intelligence into its operations.
