Sarnia’s Fogarty debuts in QJMHL
Sarnia forward Carter Fogarty drew an assist in his Drummondville Voltigeurs debut in the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League. Article content Article content Article content
Fogarty, who turns 18 on Nov. 17, signed with the Voltigeurs after getting off to a great start in the Ontario Junior Hockey League with the Pickering Panthers.
“He is a rapidly improving player who can play both ends of the (ice), possesses a very strong work ethic and is highly competitive,” Voltigeurs general manager Yanick Lemay said in a statement.
Fogarty was fifth in the OJHL scoring race with 14-15-29 totals in 15 games.
