Training EVs in Pokémon Legends: Z-A is important if you want to make your creatures the strongest they can be. EVs (or Effort Values) are additional stats your Pokémon can gain through using specific items or defeating wild Pokémon. You can use these points to make your bulky Pokémon even sturdier, by adding stats to its HP or Defense, or make your powerhouse even stronger by adding points to its Attack or Special Attack.
