ST. ANNE, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Police released more information Wednesday morning about what led up to the officer involved shooting where one person died in St. Anne on August 20.

The incident occurred around 12:12 a.m. near the. The video footage showed police attempting to pull over a red Pontiac near the intersection of North and South Rd and St. Charles Rock Road for running a stop sign, but the car continued to keep going.

The pursuit continued on North Hanley Road, then ended on the 3300 block of Welsberg Drive. The video also showed two suspects exiting out of the car and attempting to rush into the house, and officers pursued the driver to arrest him.
