UNIVERSITY CITY, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Suspects are in custody after a man was shot in University City on Wednesday.

According to police, the man was shot in the 1300 block of Fairview just before 8 a.m. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said that the suspects were taken into custody after the shooting.

The University City Bureau of Investigation is continuing to investigate. Anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers at 866-371-TIPS.
