KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Two brothers have now pleaded guilty to a shooting at North Kansas City High School that left an adult and a student injured.

Clay County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Wednesday, Oct. 29, indicate that Lavon’dre M. Smallwood, 19, of Kansas City, has admitted to his involvement in a 2024 shooting.

Court documents indicated that Smallwood pleaded guilty to assault in the second degree, accessory to assault in the second degree, unlawful use of a weapon and accessory to unlawful use of a weapon.
