When it comes to Halloween decorations, there are few that can compete with Gina Reilly. For the last 30 years, the 69-year-old Emporia resident has orchestrated weddings, designed witches’ lairs, and created elaborate spooky Halloween decorations in the space of her front yard, located at 115 South Union Street.
Decor For Every Occasion
This year’s theme? A detailed Corpse Bridge Wedding, featuring a three-person jazz band, a vintage photographer, a flower girl and a ring bearer, and a colorful host of extended relatives. Almost every character involved in the scene is a skeleton - making for over 20 skeletons in Reilly’s front yard alone.
