ASHEVILLE, N.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Biltmore Company Police said a man carrying a gun in hand was arrested at the Biltmore Estate on Sunday.

An incident report states that around 8:46 p.m., security was made aware of a suspicious man in a black Tacoma truck. He was seen exiting the vehicle with a gun in his hand.

Officials said officers attempted to intercept the truck at the Admissions gate, a pursuit continued on Approach Road and it ended before the intersection of Cedar Cliff Road and Approach Road.

The Asheville Police Department was requested and took the suspect to the Buncombe County Detention Facility.

At this time, the man has not been identified.
